Replacing aging sliding doors and French patio doors is also another popular project we can help with. The most popular product being used is a clad wood door product. These doors come with multi-point locking systems that secure the door in multiple places along the frame. We have a variety of grille patterns and door styles available. We also have these door panels in a contemporary style that has narrower wood sections and more glass.
Loewen French Doors
- Loewen doors can be wood exterior with natural or primed Douglas Fir OR they can have an extruded aluminum skin over it that is prefinished (ideal for dark colors)
- Extruded cladding is painted with Kynar finish to AAMA 2605 with a 20yr warranty
- 72 finishes are available for the exterior
- Solid Laminated Douglas Fir for all wood components to reduce warp
- Douglas Fir is 92% stronger at holding nails and screws so it is more resistant to forced entry
- 20-year warranty against wood rot on all wood or clad wood doors
- Loewen uses special glass venting system to limit glass failure – 20-yr glass warranty
- High-Performance weatherstripping to seal out air better
- Multi-point locking systems are standard to provide added security
- Handlesets can be chosen from Loewen or another supplier
- Hinges can be concealed bearing or adjustable hinges depending on your needs – in a variety of finishes.
- Available in standard French stiles OR with more modern narrow 3” stiles with reduced bottom and top rails
- Multiple Divided lite sizes and infinite patterns are available from 5/8, 7/8, 1 1/4″ in Putty, Ogee and Square profiles
Windsor French Doors
- Windsor doors can be primed wood exterior or extruded aluminum clad exterior
- Cladding is powder coated in one of 22 standard or 20 optional colors
- 20 yr warranty on clad finish
- Engineered core with Pine veneer on interiors to reduce warp
- Multi-point locking systems are standard to provide added security over deadbolts
- Doors come with construction handle and temporary strikeplate to use during construction or painting
- Adjustable hinges are standard in a variety of finishes.
- Available in standard French stiles and rails or in Modern 3 3/8″ stile with 5″ bottom rails
- Multiple Divided lite sizes and infinite patterns are available from 5/8, 7/8, 1 1/4″ in Putty, Ogee and Square profiles
